Local data
Progress, drafts, attempts, history, and project notes stay in this browser for guests. Core learning works without an account or PostgreSQL, and Run/Check SQL executes locally instead of through remote SQL execution.
Optional account sync may back up progress, mastery, and preferences after authentication and scope choice. Draft SQL, saved queries, and project notes require separate opt-in.
Destructive local-data actions state their consequence before they run. Deletes the SQL Trail IndexedDB application database in this browser after offering export; browser cache, installed assets, unrelated site storage, and cloud/account data are not removed.
Rebuilds the active PGlite dataset from versioned seeds.
Deletes raw query history while compact mastery evidence remains.
Restores local UI/editor preferences to defaults.

Diagnostics
Local data is stored in IndexedDB. No account is required.
Local diagnostic report excludes learner SQL by default. It also excludes notes, query history text, result rows, and account secrets by default. This phase has no telemetry or remote measurement SDK.
